'Me'

Hiding, running, saving myself
In the heartwood
Settling myself in the hollow trunk
Of a tree
Praying a whisper to myself
Must not yield
Must not let 'me' find me

Captivated by the compactness
Where I confess to myself, my guilt
Guilt of existing
I breathe, I move
I whisper for forgiveness
Oh! I whisper
So 'me' can't hear me

No one hears me
The breath I breathe
No one hears my existance
And no one hears the growth
Of my resistance against existance
No one hears my emptiness,
My overflowing distance
Not even 'me'
'Me' thinks I'm Miss No Longer
But I know as I whisper to myself
I know, I'm Miss No More
