I see a man out on the streets, oh, how people pass him by.
Just tripping over his feet, as if he ain't even there.
The snow is just a cover, and the sun it ain't his friend.
He knows a thing about survival, maybe he could teach us all.
I see a girl on the corner, sells her body to pay the bills.
All the guys know her name, Candi they call, come on lets play.
She might call it rain, as the Angels cry down on her from above.
She knows it's not right, but Hell, she knows no other way.
Where do tears come from?
Are they drops of Heaven, sent to put out the flames of Hell?
Or are they liquid Hell, sent to drown the Heaven from our eyes?
One day.
Maybe we'll roll a miracle, from this lonely dice of life.
Maybe we'll find a rainbow, in the shadows of our mind.
One day.
We'll say we did it all, we broke the chains and got away.
We'll fight this losing battle, and say "at least we ***** tried!"
Damn you dictator's and iron fisted fools, we will live life our way.
A fight for freedom, that we may have already lost, just keep rolling.
