Weaver of Memories

Contributed by Vitreous_Soul on Monday, 14th June 2004 @ 11:46:25 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

She doth emerge, past arcadia doors
Both eyes converge, a racing heart implores
Candescent surge, her perfection outpours
To splendour verge, transcending nevermores

Fluently flows her flaxen hair
Graciously glows; golden, aglare
Sensuous shone sapphire eyes
Shimmering stones stare; mesmerize

Diatonic, angel's voice harmonic
Cosmogonic, shifts my world tectonic
Dispels chthonic, liquored kiss as tonic
Thought synchronic, brings life this mnemonic

Ravishing red, her ruby lips
So sweetly said; sonant eclipse
Flawless figure, a fulgent frame
Virile vigor, vision aflame

Curtained by moonlight, we at last embraced
With kiss I imbibe, lips of wine I taste
Mere seconds clicked, all despond was erased
The fires of coalescence emplaced
Thus my soul was by her spirit enlaced

Serene within her silken pallor
My thoughts of old are met with valour
Creator of my retrospection
Tinctures my ev'ry recollection

Our mem'ries forged serve as mementos
From days gone past she pens my cento

In each other's arms, in love's defense...
Our past, present and future reminiscence

Very well done

Barkeep.. a bottle of your finest for my young friends

I've read this three times already, and I swear that If I hadn't read you before, I'd think you were showing off!

"Ravishing red, her ruby lips
So sweetly said; sonant eclipse
Flawless figure, a fulgent frame
Virile vigor, vision aflame"

Gah! Taketh thine thousandth comment, thou swarthiest demon of pen!

If you could take every thought, every passing wish of what i wanted, what i had imagined for myself, in my wildest dreams what i had longed for....I'm so shaking right now.

You are the greatest, most talented person I have ever met. Like i have said , my Tarantino, Bob Dylan and Henry Miller. This is the most glorious thing anyone has ever done for me and I dont know how i can ever thank you ( though that schoolgirl outfit does drift back to mind ).

The words of this poem have been echoing in my mind all night Im just in awe that someone actually feels this way about me.

Love you, always and forever
Vanessa ( 090404 )

The heart of a poet! What every woman dreams of... but few will ever obtain. *sigh*

Masterful as always... but this time, so incredible laced with affection. I barely know what to say! It makes "I love you" seem... well... kind of pathetic and rather understated.

Wallowing in the knowledge that romance hasn't died-

This is a lovely dedication.

It is beautiful from start to finish and very impressive.

Excellent title as well.

I wish you both the best that life has to offer.

These words are so exquisitely beautiful. If I wasn't so old I would have to vie for your heart. She is a lucky girl.

Vanessa is a very lucky girl to have someone like you! It is so sweet when people dedicate their poetry....and it's even better when the poem is this good! I'm sure she's smiling! Very nice write, thank you so much for sharing it with us. I enjoyed it a lot!

I think you must have created the English language, with the effortless way you use it. Superlative!
Serene within her silken pallor
My thoughts of old are met with valour
Creator of my retrospection
Tinctures my ev'ry recollection

I especially like this stanza. Brilliant work.

Wow, VS... soon even I'll need a dictionary.

In all seriousness, though, this piece was, is, and will ever be incredible. Poetry requires inspiration for a more depthy view of emotion, and it looks like you've got quite a bit of inspiration. ^^

Among your best, truly.

Keep writing or swallow a box of thumbtacks,
-Eve.

My good friend.. simple words cannot express the aura that this fine piece of poetry carries with it, with each passing line i found myself deeper and deeper within your words

As time goes by, if find there is not a second where i am not in awe of the beauty that screams from your pen, born from the soul inside you that is pregnant with what one could only call a talent that should never be and will never be forgotten, you are a genius, you are a romantic, you are a piece of art and your never ending talents are the colours.
