these people staring at me
say that i'm "morally deprived"
this mirror on which my gaze is caught
shows that i'm hardly alive
and i can hear their whispers
though maybe they can't tell
but from now untill the day i die
i pray they'll rot in hell
they think that i'm some animal
and they should lock me in a cage
so they can poke and prod at me
to make me "contain my rage"
so they stick me here with plastic walls
white pumped up with foam
and they think its healty for me
to sleep in this room alone
and when i cry to let me out
they tell me i'm misbehaving
and then they tell me how dumb i am
and other things as degrading

they've locked me in a prison
designed to help me to get "better"
when nothing was wrong in the first place
but they still sent off that letter
and they won't let me see anyone
no one that could let me be me
and they're picking at my secrets
not giving me room to breathe

well this is another case of they think they know whats right for you and they probably dont and are wrong. or this is for the best interest of you or something. i dont know, so i cant make judgement, but from your point of view its just sickening. well doctors and the such will do anything for money.

Very deep and emotional poem. I know how you feel. Great Job I look forward to reading more of your poetry.
