What is true love?

Contributed by BlackAngel on Thursday, 17th October 2002 @ 07:15:00 AM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

They were in love at first
You would never see the one without the other
I wonder what happened to those happy faces?
She walks around with her head down,
He struts around all big and bad
He cheated on her, and beaten her too
But he never realized he hurt her so
She had to drive herself to the hospital
And sit all alone
No one would come and visit her
Cuz the feared him
She was blind to the world
All her friends warned her
But her eyes were set on him
She loved him so much,
So she pushed the pain away
She said he loved her,
And that he just didn't realize it
But it was her that didn't realize
that he was in love with everyone
He would never be true to just one
He could never be trueful or loyal

Controlling infatuation is not love!
To love someone is never to hurt them in any way, shape or form! It's all about self control and keeping a cool sensible head, not controlling others!
He's defensively/offensively fearsome being scared people will see the good little boy inside him, as he thinks this side of him is weak. How wrong!

Good write again Deanna, you do put thought into your writes don't you.

With love
Dean;-)

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
