No Love In This

Contributed by TheReturnOfx7 on Monday, 14th June 2004 @ 09:11:46 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

What am I but your reflection
Yet you push me away slowly
Resting your trigger on my finger
Laying in wait to find a reason to explode

Screaming into the hollowed out walls
Perhaps your screaming to the cockroaches
for my ears refuse to here this sound
You must have forgotten there's no love in this

Tearing a soul into oblivion
Trying to turn me into a shadow
Wanting me to follow on a path to destruction
Sarcastic remarks don't erase my willpower

Don't you see I'm your doppleganger
Only I wish to not remain the same
You raise your hand to strike at me
And I come to see there's no love in this

Yet I'll scream how I once loved you
As I tear your blackend lungs away
I'll leave you laying in a puddle
Your voice forever gone away

To step across the borderline
Silenceing the howling within my ears
I'll kill you just to prove to you
There's no ******* love in this
