freindship

What does real friendship mean?
Should a friend stab you in the back?
Well my friend did, many times before
She can't talk to me in public
Cuz i look to diferent from her
She always hits me, just joking
Does she care it really hurts?
But the worst thing of all was
When hse went out with him
The guy I liked was now hers
She knew I liked him,
He was my kind, not hers
He liked me, but her more
Didn't our friendship mean more than that?
We've been though alot over the last 6 years
But she ruined that all in a week
Not like she cares, I'm just some freak to her
Hopfully she'll be good to him,
And not change him

Ah yes, I too have been the victim of jealousy!
But did I let it come about that way for a reason, I mean to sort out the true friends from those who only had me around to make them feel better about themselves because I'd let them when they wouldn't let themselves?
I have now weeded them out, and am starting again being true to myself first and foremost!

With love

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
