A Real Man

Contributed by bluedragonfly on Monday, 14th June 2004 @ 05:08:28 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Somebody please
Answer a question for me
That is if you can
What is the definition
Of a "real man"?
I don't understand
I am kind of confused
Is a real man supposed to
Leave you feeling
All broken and used?
I don't want
That kind of example
For my son
I want him to grow up
To be the better one
To stand beside
The woman he loves
Always cherish her
No matter what

hello there
well, this poem sounds like you're confused as you said.i don't exactly know the definition of a real man,but i think a real man is someone who will love you and won't ever wanna hurt you,and if he does,he'll apologize right away.also,a real man for me is that when he realizes that he don't love you,he'll be honest and tell you because he don't wanna hurt you and wants you to be happy without him, even though it might be hard.well,i don't know why you feel this way,but if he's leaving, keep your faith and you gotta move on even though it's hard, you'll be allright and a brighter day will come where you'll see things more clearly.now, don't worry.just worry about your son,and he'll grow to be a good man,if that is what you really want.take care.
love always,
andrea

yuesh, what a putz, ...a real genuine loving man, as same for women, one who loves unconditionally, is always there for you, is honest, truthful and kind to children and animals, respect you and has a heart, soul and mind that are compassionate, your better off without this man, and i believe that with a caring loving mother as yourself your son will turn out brilliantly, my best to you and your son, hugs n' love nessa

I hear you on that one! The rest of the ladies in the world and you are all wondering the same question. What is a "real man" and most importantly where can you find one!? I didn't think that that was possible. I thought all guys were slime and only wanted one thing. (No I am not a lesbian and did not want to become one) haha. I thought that was crap that everyone has someone out there that is perfect for them. Then I met my boyfriend Sean and I believe it now. We are engaged and happy as ever. I'm also pregnant with twins. Good luck to you and I hope you find your "real man" soon. Godbless
