Dead words,
Empty looks,
A silence that kills
My stupid expression,
Your everlasting depression.
My horizons are faded,
My commitments are dated.
My goals I can’t reach,
I hear everyone preach.
Time takes me apart,
I take everything they say to heart.
I break the ice with a sigh.
I look 4 ways to get by.
at The point where I stand only fear drive my feet,
As others around me lay their bodies in defeat.
The words I’m told bounce off my ears,
I scream but no one hears.
I’m the blame shifter,
A no good drifter.
I never have fun,
Could you be my breath so I can run?
If I couldn’t see would you see?
Would you tell me what to be?
I never forget a face,
I walk life at the same pace.
I never lie in the morning
I can’t find myself when I look in the mirror.
My sinuses don’t go away anymore,
I no longer look to things that I use to adore.
I’ve never felt this poor,
I look for ways outside my door.
I never let anyone see me cry,
I do mind when you ask me why.
