See me underneath my sun bed tan,
See me for who I truly am,
See me and all I have to give,
See me and don’t judge how I live.
See me and trust the words I speak,
See me as strong and not as weak,
See me for the person who is inside,
See me as the little girl who cried.
See me and all I’m worth,
See me as I breathe and walk this earth,
See me as an individual,
See me and not the side who is cruel.
See me ,I mean the real me,
See me and witness all that I can be,
See me cry and see me laugh,
See me happy ,ignore my wrath.
See me as a dainty flower,
See me grow up by the hour,
See me show all my affection,
See me comfort and offer protection.
See me, please look past my cover,
See me melt in the arms of my lover,
See me and watch me brightly shine,
See me wrap myself with him and entwine.
See me as a fairytale princess,
See me calm and forget my stress,
See me and my acts of love,
See me on the beautiful wings of a dove.
