Tainted love is on my mind,
For that’s what the future beholds,
No love of any kind,
A warm heart turned cold,
I thought that I meant something,
But somewhere that vision was misplaced,
Suddenly I meant nothing,
My passion gone to waste,
There are little who would allow this,
Or little who’d even know,
For now I take poisons kiss,
And stoop to the very low,
Your very own blood stained floors
Are for fools to see,
Foolish men who came so close,
To even loving me.

This is very sad but dont give up, love is still somewhere out there and I hope you find it.
In truth, I've felt this way before, the exact emotions and thoughts lingered on my mind as well. This write hit close to home.
Great write, the pain, frustration and sadness depicted so well. Well done.
