Unvoiced Tension

Cold, hard blood
Coursing through lava hot veins
My heart beating fast
Inside it's steel solid shell
Can you hear it?
Can you hear it beating?
If you listen closely,
you can hear me hope
Insanity's run further
Than I could ever know
My dreams are racing wilder
Than I could ever show
Now I'm standing
here with you,
I'm standing here alone
Hoping you can hear it too
The echo from inside me
That rings throughout the room
So silently

This is a good poem and I hope you find a way to voice how you feel in the next few poems. No one is a mind reader. |
