The Earth Spirit, the essence of the land, the very spark that caused mountains rise up from the depths of the planet into the clouds of the sky. An ethereal being who resides in every chunk of mass, from the simplest atom to the most complex living organism. On every planet, in every ocean, in our very souls, everywhere and anywhere the spirits presence is hidden, but its peak of influence is in the forests, where a plethora of life and non-living matter are in the most abundance. It is said that in the days before civilization, before man rose to power, before the pollution, before the felling of great and ancient forests, the Earth Spirit regularly walked about his dominion ever creating new and wonderful creations the likes of which will never be seen again. Until the balance of the world is restored, until the harmony of life rings through the mountains, until it is set back as it was, no new wonders will ever be created, no more places of serenity will be wrought by the kindly spirit who wished for no more then to build, to create, to mystify, any who may chance upon its workings.
