Pedals

Watching the pedals drop as they slowly hit the ground,
and softly others form around,
Fast but lightly they fall as though they flew down,
watching the pedals brush away with out a sound,
To form a pedal blanket on top of the green grass,
and to walk upon it carefully as though it were glass,
So velvety soft and handled with care,
all the pedals are gone leaving the rose bare.
