rising
the stream of blood does
i can see it
i can feel it
tiding with my feet
i crunch the dirt
the sound of screams echoes
the tide of hell is coming in
now the day even though light
is drawing dark
the sky hits complete shadow
like underneath a blanket
only pin points of light seep through
red stars
blue galaxys
never safe
comets glide over the ocean of blood
and a dead hand reaches out
its him
my heart bounces excitidly
hes coming
get ready
look proud
no look scared
hes the all powerful one
hes comiing closer
hes walking apon the blood
i can see the faces of the dead
zombies of the hell
my prince of darkness
i the queen
we rule
power
the underground
my babies of night crawl
they cry for their mother
i nurse them
i kill them more
make them stronger
by making them weaker
iam the mother of the dark
who feeds the dead
i look after the sick
while others persue him
i look after him
i look after you
iam the mother of eternity
yes iam the mary of the lord
he will die soon
the mother of darkness.....

The voice sounds secure by the end, but I was confused by the "no look scared".. was she talking to herself, or to us? I feel by the end she was triumphantly stating her place/cause to us without need for our approval, which I liked... not apologetic for the darkness/blood/gore of the poem. Thank you! |
