Go away Mr. Salesman I dont want no God

Contributed by SuicidalSon on Sunday, 13th June 2004 @ 02:16:56 PM in AEST
Topic: ChristianPoetry

All good is gone, all the rights are wrong
And its your fault, its all that was tought
Plain nothings, and said it was something
We belive, the future for that makes me grieve
Its not about us but the kids, stop teaching them ignorance , you have no reason behind what you say, its ungodly to force them to pray
But still thats what lifes all about, no its not theres much more, but christs still the reason for war

Hey preacher leave them kids alone
Religion is wrong go and create your own
I dont preach to yours about satan
I dont teach yours about god and to hate him
But still you want to come to my place
I open the door to get a flyer in my face
Hell no do I tell you to come here
Next time your holy blood I'll smear

I love the title. And the poem until the last line.

Very intresting. I agree about not making people believe in somthing, but I think your a little off about people "shoving" stuff in your face. Most of the time its because people care about you. What about the kids that want to pray?I feel very sad for you that you think religion is wrong. You don't see air but you breath it so how are you so sure there is no God?Christ is not the reason for war his people are. The reason that is behind what "we" say is telling you the truth about our past, future, and present, its out of love not the intentioin to preach down your throat.

I have to agree, I hate those pushy type. *looks around and whispers* I hate organized religion, period.

But the spiritual side, that people do for them, I believe in. I worship a Goddess... but I don't tell anyone else too... and I don't tell alot of people because I'm sick and tired of people whispering 'witch' whenever I walk by...

Great write Jasen, on a topic we all need to hear about....

Jaime

Obviously you've had a very tough time.
I hope that you know God now as I do. It wasn't easy though. Good Luck.
Sherry
