Heart Broken

Contributed by Seans_Girl on Sunday, 13th June 2004 @ 12:29:15 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

You really don't understand
How I feel inside
In this lonely heart-break land
Is where I cried

I wanted to end the life I live
It would be just a small cost
For you anything I would give
Cuz the one I love, I have lost

I'm not made of stone
Only flesh that is weak
I feel so completely alone
I can't bare what you speak

You say I must deal
With things as they are
No matter how I feel
No matter the scar

Well, darling I've tried
To do exactly what you want
I hurt too much inside
It's time for me to be blunt

The pain that I now feel
It's not going away
My love for you is so real
My feelings will stay

And as long as I am close to you
I'll not hide in shame
This is one thing that I knew
For I've been burned by your flame

Although burned and broken, you see
My love will still never die
My heart will be empty without me
And without you inside

But without you how will I cope?
I don't want to say goodbye
I will always wait with hope
Until the day that I die

I will hold my wounded heart
Inside my soul that's scarred
Why did we just fall apart?
For me, It's just way too hard

I've been here, recently - I guess I'm still here... I know how you feel and I know all of which you speak - it does get better. Keep up the work - you have talent and i look forward to reading more of your work. xx
