Hawk sails the sky with grace and ease.
Bird plays the currents ever free.
It makes the flowing gentle breeze
to take him soaring high to see
if wee small prey will try to hide.
There's no escape - that scheme's been tried.

Sijo is a kind of Japanese poetry. What it means, I don't know. Some other kinds of Japanese poetry are:Haiku, Lantern, Senyru.
Each kind has its own sentence structure and meter to follow. I'm glad you like this poem. I hope I can write another one you'll like too.
Regards,
