Threat to Your Purpose

Threat to Your Purpose

You don't stand up for yourself
You expect others to do it for you
One day they'll ignore you
Just as everyone before
And turn their backs on you

You only talk to people with advice
And nothing else
What's the point of it anyway
You ignore them like yesterday
They'll forget you sooner or later
Anyway, anyday

You don't listen to anyone
But yourself
Saying it's not right for you
Well, what's right for you?
To die by your own choice
Out of loneliness?
Well, what's right for you?
To commit the same mistakes
Over and over?
Well, what's right for you?
I obviously don't know you
You don't want anyone to know
What's below the surface

Threat to your purpose
If they're too close
You lock them out
Threat to your purpose
There is no doubt
Your paranoia grips you
You have nothing to live for
They took your purpose to live
And you know it

This is a good poem, it doesn't seem too jumbled to me.
