My Life Story

Contributed by hooray_its_jen on Saturday, 12th June 2004 @ 01:26:43 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

On June 15, 1990
I came into the world
Jenna Brielle Hallomans,
A beatiful baby girl.

I had a father who was
And still is always caring
An older brother and an older sister
Who were never sharing.

I had a mother who was beautiful,
Outside and in
And a sister, Jacoba
My identical twin.

My brother Eric
Has always loved music
But his favorite band
Always makes me sick.

My sister Courtney
Was a star swimmer,
Always beating everyone,
Even as a beginner.

My sister Jacoba
Has always been like me
But we never wear the same clothes...
Because that's dorky.

When I was ten,
Courney died.
Then my parents divorced
And many tears were cried.

On March 12, 2004
God looked down and smiled
And I was baptized in the presence of God
As his very own child.

Almost 14,
I'm burnt but I'm healing
I'm getting upset
Then coping and dealing.

It's June 12, 2004
So here I am today
And so concludes my life story.
That's all I have to say.

Im so glad you did this...its a daunting idea to capture your whole life in a poem, but i thought it was a wonderful idea and i love knowing more about you. Kinda inspired me to get my ass in gear and try it

Jenna, you did a wonderful thing here and in your life by not letting anger and hurt lead your life for you. You must be a very smart and strong young woman to realize that would not get you anywhere in life. Life is not always easy, but it is better than the alternative. We are given a life to live to the best of our ability. I am delighted to know that you realize your life is what you do with your choices. It makes me very proud of you. Wish more youngsters could realize that and make their lives easier instead of causing themselves so much heartache and so many unnecessary problems.

Hugs,
Rita
