Loving Worry

Contributed by DragonLuvSong on Saturday, 12th June 2004 @ 10:30:23 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I sometimes worry that you don't love me, that you will leave me forever.
I sometimes worry that I will never find anyone quite like you.
I sometimes worry that I will always be alone.
But then I look into your eyes, and I see that special sparkle that was born when I knew you loved me.
And when I see your face, I know you will never leave me.
Your smile, when you look at me, tells me that you will always care.
You see into my soul wtih the blaze in your eyes.
I can never feel alone becuse your love is always there; it shelters me in a pool of comfort, where I can be protected from the evils of the world.
If I ever collapse into a vaccum of my despair, I can feel you grasping at the threads of my sanity, the cacophony subsiding, I know you will keep me whole.
You are the mate to my tortured soul, and the vessel of my mortal mind.
You complete the puzzle of my existance, and keep the conclusion safe in your arms.
Through you I can be complete, and live the life of superior pleasure.
Without your love, I know I could never survive; the world around me would be dark and corrupt.
I would exist surounded by a curtain of confusion, never to truly understand the meaning of life.
You complete my soul; fill that vacant space that was empty so long ago.
As I look into your eyes, I can see that person that I am, the person you create in me.
With you I know that I can truly live, you make me who I want to be.
I now know that I am loved, and I can be content with the life I'm living.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
