each individual soul
knows some sort of mindless torture
fantasies once shot for
are shredded by demons
relief from the torture
can be found through song
a never ending whirlwind of power
the power to change hearts, minds
sometimes even emotions
when no one else understands
song knows exactly how you feel
tales of past lovers and friends,
rhythm and bookends,
shine on through misty moonbeams
singing with you,
washing away the years
years of puzzling mind games
sparkling on the still life forms
of one's soul already locked between iron gates
healing, soothing, caressing
all that must be said
