Living in Heaven today......

Contributed by lowman613 on Saturday, 12th June 2004 @ 08:58:53 AM in AEST
Topic: Grief

I'm sorry Mom for the pain your in,
but it was my time to go,
now that I'm now in Heaven,
and I'm looking down below,
No one has explanations to why this had to be,
Mom it was just what God wanted now,
He has a special plan for me,
and you will find peace some how,
I know its all hard for you to understand,
why he took me so soon,
but I will be there holding your hand,
in the morn. & the light of the moon,
I'm smiling down on you,
knowing your in pain,
helping you to get through,
and find the rainbow after the rain,
Please promise you will not cry,
I know thats hard to say,
but Mom I did'nt really die,
I'm living in Heaven today!

For Valerie
Her son passed away on June 6th.

This is beautifully done Christine. I'll add her to my prayer list along with matt who lost his mom, and rita who lost her hubby. One thing about this site, it's an enormous comfort for those who grieve. We all feel their pain. God bless you for writing this, and may He bless all the grieving poets/poetess' who need comfort at this time.
Angel always...godspeed...joni
