I don't want to be the enemey,
Say good bye to the memory,
When you can't see,
What its done to me,
I want to be,
Everything I can't see,
If only I could change into,
Something like you,
If only I could make the rebirth true,
And become everything I want to,
Maybe I can change,
And rearrange,
I will not be the enemy,
I will never ever say goodbye to the memory.

This is a good write and reminds me of another song that talks about memories "The Way We Were" sung by Gladys Knight. Here is a quote:
"Could it all have been so simple then
or has time rewritten every line
and if we had a chance to do it all again
tell me would we, could we" |

Never heard that song before but your poem can definitely pass for song lyrics. Very nice. |
