fell fast asleep and
dreamed the sweetest dream
but then when i woke up
you were right there with me,
oh, let it remain dark
save us from light of day
these moments timeless
are we swept away?
you've been my friend
through the years
when i was down, you
kissed away my tears,
in a whisper my heart
says you know it too
but don't mention love
that stuffs never true,
in each the other's arms
is where we should stay
whatever we are it simply
will not fade to grey,
whatever this is; let's not
let it sail out of sight,
just keep me in your arms tonight.
