Dreaming of that serene face again
In peaceful blue bliss looking over me
Softly speaking within subtle rhythmns
And challenging me to do the same
Rest my head in its shadow
The peacefulness here to stay
The bitter emotions slowly slither
Leaving behind a disturbing calm
Warmth of light moves slowly across my skin
Gentle fragrance to dance across my nostrils
The fragilty of my disposition becomes distorted
Relaxing within this dream-like state of mind
Rearranging all my pieces in order
Yet in my eyes I'm exactly the same
I'm so glad its all over
Missing this so much
I'm so glad its all over
hated missing you so much
Feeling of finally finding my strength again
I step once more into my shadow and emerge
Marvelling as the hollow spots have disappeared
Hoping that this time you're here to stay
Yet in my eyes, I'm still exactly the same

An elusive poem, this one. Thought it was at first about finally recovering from the pain of a breakup, but turned out to be about separation and reunifification. At least I think so... either way, an enriching read, and well written.
