Grains of sand fall
One by One
Into a sea of meaningless words
The noise fades out and nothingness remains
Time to search the soul
Deep down into the pit on oneself
A plethora of feelings
Joy, happiness, jubilation
Memories of all those special times held dear
Pain, torment, rage
All those troubles to hard to bear
Those are nothing as time goes by
Tick Tock Tick Tock
As each hand moves
The years fly by
And so it seems
That the cloudy fog of slumber rolls in
Eyes glaze
Heads tilt
Silence is broken by the sounds of the content
Such boredom to great adventures
Dreams of that not here
But all is not yet lost
For the alarm doth sounds
And we leave the boorish torment
That is English class
