The Moment

Topic: LoveRemembered

You hold me close, as I cry not wanting you to go.
You tell me it's only for a little bit, just a few years.
I wince at the thought.
You say you'll never leave.
That you'll stay close to me.
You promised you loved me and that you wouldn't find some one new.
Now all I can do is think back to the moment.
Laying there on the grass, holding your hand.
Wishing for you to stay with me.
I turn to you and mention that I would never leave you, and how I wake up every morning wishing I could wake up next to you.
About how all my dreams have come true, since I'm now with you.
I am waiting for you.
I will always wait for you.
I look forward to the next moment we can share.
Laying on the grass looking at the clouds.
You holding me close, but I guess until then I must wait for the next few years.

I feel for you. I know what you are going through. My guy and I are together now but before I had to fight to be with him. He was going through some really hard times and just didnt care and thought no one else cared even though I loved him and always will. But I waited and was there for him always. Yes there are some things worth waiting for and moments worth waiting for. Hang in there and I hope you can find the hope and strength to start to move on with your life until that moment comes.

Love~n~stuff,
