Ah the joy of winter bliss.
New growth where barren fields laid at rest
The sower of the seed so sweet
A harvest full of winter wheat
A life begins where all life ends
A new journey, I've made amends
The start so slow, but budding forth
Into something better I now morph
The world she holds in a glass cup
The courage of this world I've soaked up
The rays shine down from her beautiful face
So delicate, so pleasing, so full of grace
The plant now grows and flowers bloom
Questions and thoughts on my mind now loom
Great bonds form as roots take hold
Her mere essence to much to behold
So saved am I by her green thumb
Ah this love has made me numb
The strength she had to cultivate
A love so great now culminates
Such has come of trodden earth
A new plant out of rebirth
My life I owe for her tender care
My heart and soul with her I share
With time I grow to become
A part of her, that special one
