Forecast
May 26, 2004
Her eyes don't cry the same,
Grey as mine.
No amount of tears or joys,
Could make it fine.
In all the world I had seen before,
Never thought I would feel this way,
And it's not over, no, I say...
It's not over, hang on to the good times,
And we can soar right through.
I don't have the words to make it true,
But I can tell you what I know,
And what I know is not the word,
But it's mine, for you.
Of all the breezes in all the air,
I knew it when I felt you there.
Well, we may never be the same,
But I have known what you have felt,
And tonight I will,
Tonight I'll share,
With you, with you...
Heard the days are looking foggy there,
And I don't, well, I do, I...
Care.
So me and you, two
Strangers alike in the dark, in the light,
I can let you see.
It's not over, no it's not over...
Don't let go, said don't let go,
To the good times.
When the forecast looks down,
Remember what I say.
Your eyes don't cry the same,
Grey as mine.
