Pirate's Cove

Contributed by liquidsunshine on Thursday, 10th June 2004 @ 07:36:55 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Pirate's Cove

A pirate will die for his treasure
And quarreling gives him much pleasure
A swashbuckle here
A dead buccaneer
But death is not great enough measure

A flag flies atop of their ship
The captain, you'll give him no lip
Just for foolish pride
So many have died
And yet not a tear drop will drip

They live an adventurous life
For they thrive on danger and strife
They won't settle down
And always they frown
No wonder there's no pirate's wife

I live my life out and it's full
And I won't take none of that bull
A pirate can sail
He'll moan and he'll wail
But it's his own weight that he'll pull

Your too hard on yourself. I liked this one it is lighthearted and it flows well, I could picture a group of pirates singing it heartily like a sea shanty. Good work.

Aw... c'mon Chelsea, haven't you ever heard of captain Jack Sparrow?

Nice work, as ever. Savvy?

I wrote this before I'd ever heard of Captain Jack Sparrow... But he's an oddball anyway.
