As she sits and wonders
What tomorrow will bring
She reflects on a time
Of not long ago
Of the night
She told him no
He took her selfworth
He blackened her soul instead
Now she's left
All screwed in the head
They all think she's in control
When she felt helpless
Thru it all
She tried to talk about it
No one wanted to listen
If they had taken the time
They could have heard
The cries
She holds them deep inside
