Please stop your awful punishments,
As I know that it is me who you resent,
You beat me regardless of my frightened pleas,
Punching and kicking until I am on my knees.
Please stop these terrible insults,
I know that everything is my fault,
But your words are too much for me to take,
I am only flesh and blood and can easily break.
Please stop these monstrous beatings,
You have ripped to shreds all my feelings,
I feel worthless and weak,
Scared to move and scared to speak.
Please stop hurting me,
You’re destroying a life, can’t you see,
Making me feel like an ugly garden weed,
Laughing and sneering as I lay there and bleed.
Please stop all this pain,
It’d be kinder to place a bullet in my brain,
But no you get off on watching me slowly die,
You feel pleased at your ability to make me cry.
