Passion
Passion, it lies in all of us
It speaks to us, guides us, it rules us all
The source of our finest moments
The cause of our blindest visions
Nothing so powerful as our deepest desires
Waiting to be stirred, to have a chance to open their jaws
Inside the ecstasy of grief, for the longing of happiness
The insanity that bursts from within
When craziness becomes normal for it’s what happens
Where time cannot erase all the fears from failure
But what else do we really have but uncertainty
The excitement of not knowing where everything ends up
It brings all this to the table, worth every bit of it
Without passion inside us, we truly would be dead
