When I look in his eyes
I get no surprise
When he doesn't look back
Doesn’t even refract
The light that I give...
He’s the reason I live
Yet he seems not to care
And knows not that I’m there.
Everyday I now find
It is more in my mind
That it ever has been
And I'm not who I seem.

| Oh my gosh! I know exactly how that feels! I can really relate to your poem. I really love this poem because I've gone through it first hand. It's like you put all your love and emotions into one person hoping they will finally notice you. It keeps you dreaming, until reality kicks in. Well, great poem, keep it up! |

Short and beautiful...Unrequited love does hurt,but I'm certain that someone will notice all that you are,and it might not be the one you think,but it might be even better.Keep on smiling inside and out and love will meet you along the way..Good luck,
