I ride on
I ride on
jet black wings,
soaked in crimson blood.
My wailing cry
spreads and creates
morbidity and decay.
People slay each other
at the sight of me,
they breath the breath of
death at my scent.
I glide over them,
twirling in sorrowful,
shadowless obscurity.

Sounds like some personification but in reverse. Giving a person the charateristics of a bird. Slick idea :) Great poem. |
