What have we here
My sweetheart, my love
Who I hold so dear
Who is sent from above
Have we got trouble
For loving so much
I hate bursting bubbles
With thinking and such
And yet you love me
Despite my predictions
As if you won't see
The looming restrictions
Though I see an ending
...you seem to ignore
The love that you're sending
Just grows that much more
Our views are opposing
On heaven and God
I know doors are closing
Our love is so odd
You say He's not there
That Buddha's the guy
But I'll never dare
To let His Word die
It scares me a lot
That you don't believe
Forgiven--if not
In heaven I'll grieve
For He may forgive
And your soul would go on
But I cannot live
Fearing "what if that's wrong"
You see all the signs
That have shown me to you
You've read between the lines
You know He sent them...
You know that...
don't you?

What do you say to this one? I wish I could tell you that it's not wrong and not to worry, but I don't have an ear to god...
But, I do wish to tell you that He is a loving god... and as long as you love your sweetheart, I don't see how He could have a problem with it...
All Gods are One.

I understand where your mind is at. A difficult
time for you....must be so confusing.
A well written poem however......i wish there
was one blatant answer for you both....but i
guess there isn't. |

Alas, Chelsea, this must be very hard. I cannot give you any advice, only to stay strong in the Truth that you know. Alas again that this should be, but all gods are not one. One God is all.
Blessings.

I know the pain of having one you love dearly not being a believer... I trust that you seek God's guidance as you make the choice He wills for you to make. God bless you.

Great poem!
I didn't believe when my wife met me. We got married, I still didn't believe. I finally came to belief, because of my wife and Christ through her. The general rule of thumb as the church goes is don't yoke yourself with unbelievers. In fact it says that in Scripture. But I can't say that I don't feel grateful that my wife stuck around.
God will be there for you either way.
