I watch you, with those...insecure eyes,
you think no one likes you, I hear the sighs.
You've only thought once
to give someone a try,
those days are over,
we're just friends this time.
Copious tears, are running down your cheeks,
head hanging low, you haven't smiled for weeks.
All of the things, that made you,
you, have disapeared,
I miss you, you miss me,
but our break-up was clear.
Sit down next to me, and we'll talk...as friends,
breathe in deeply, get your frustration to end.
Give me a smile, you look good when you do,
it's time you moved on,
and I'm going to help you.
Don't try to fit in, don't push yourself away...
you were yourself, when I met you that day.
Cheerful brown eyes, telling those jokes,
you never failed to listen, when I spoke.
Stand up tall, you've got so much to give,
don't sit in that hole, you've managed to dig.
you automatically think, t
hey want you to leave,
Ignore the paranoia,
they like you don't you see?
Now, who is this girl you like,
what is her name?
I want you to go up to her, ask her on a date.
Tell her what you want in life,
and what you have to give,
promise her all the happiness,
with you she'll finally live.
(After he asks her)
A week passes by, still I haven't heard from you,
you didn't call to tell me,
what happend with you two.
I'm guessing it worked,
and you're happy now...
Now all I need to do is move on
...but how?
I'm thinking about you,
you're on my mind everyday,
I know I've made you happier,
but tears run down my face.
sitting in my room at night,
frustrated, filled with rage,
I guess that is what love...
is all about, even with the pain.
--Reason behind this peice--
This is very true...it's like the perfect thing for me. I helped my ex, ask this girl he liked out, a few months after we broke up. And of course he's very happy now, because he took my advice, and we can say, stopped wallowing in his misery. But- now I never hear from him...and it hurts. He didn't know that while he still wanted me, I still wanted him, but I was dating and trying to move on. So I tried to help him...and I achieved my goal. He was miserble, and he never smiled, he wasn't talking to anyone, I couldn't bear it. You could say...I just loved him, and I wanted him to be happy with someone else...even though it hurt the hell outta me
