My Sons

Topic: ChildrensPoetry

I watch you both grow before my eyes,
Learning new things has made you wise,
I'll always remember the days I first held you,
So helpless and everythings so new,
My two sons,Whom I could'nt do with out,
You've helped me to learn things,I didnt know much about!
theres times you two fight like theres no end,
and hug each other like a friend,
I hear your cries, over simple toys,
Yet I'm thankful for having such wonderful boys,
the smell of your hair, and dirt under your nails,
from playing outside with shovel and pails,
Coming to you both when you scream,
from being woke up from a bad dream,
Theres times I get mad when you both fight,
I don't want to yell,yet sometimes I might,
but when I look at your face I just want to smile,
How both of you have your own unique style,
Your brothers who sometimes don't get along,
trying to learn what not to do wrong,
But even still I love you both very much,
and everything I do is with a loving touch,
I could'nt imagine my life with out you two,
It would be boring with nothing to do,
You both give me laughter and joy,
even when I step on your silly toy,
I know there will be a day and time,
That you will no longer be mine,
So now I cherish these memories with you,
Teaching you in life what not to do,
So when that time comes for you to live on your own,
You will know I'm not too far away,Just pick up the phone!
