Everything
When I see you looking at me with your eyes so bright
I wonder if you will stop for a moment
And think about all the things that you know we can be
I know you don’t believe, but you are not alone in this tonight
Sacrifice everything to take a closer look at your heart
I know I have made mistakes that cost me more than I’ll ever know
And its overwhelming me seeing you in your perfection
Realizing that all else just seems to fade away
All the cares in the world become no more
Even knowing I can never gain your full trust
But I am here for you when the moment comes
Some things I cannot compare too or understand
Which can explain my frustration or sadness
The past is pain while the future brings faith
The thought of not knowing what happened before me
Is the craziness that surrounds me
How we came together is one in its own
Seeing what I’ve put you through
Makes you amaze me more day by day
Even when we fight about what seems to be nothing
I can’t help but think we will make it through
People say what they want to say
Not caring who they hurt or the damage they cause
I do not know what to say to install your faith in us
That maybe everything will end up just fine
Have the love and compassion we need
And just wait to see how it all ends
Nothing is set and easy to see
But all I know is…
I LOVE YOU
