The endless night

I wish this night would end, my friend,
I wish this night would end,
You are my closest comrade,
But, are you still my friend?
The days will fly no matter what,
So, I’ll treasure what I’ve got,
A silhouette of a memory,
Is that what’s left, or not?
Tell me my friend, should I just go?
Is this friendship no more?
Should we roam around this endless night,
Not knowing what we should know?

It sounds very sad, and makes me feel like you lost a friend that you could do nothing to stop from losing, I like the line "A silhouette of a memory," good poem. |
