my final farewell

Contributed by holderofthestone on Tuesday, 8th June 2004 @ 11:27:14 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I remember that night we spent together...
how we melted
flowing endlessly over the sea of each other.
smooth skin in endless waves
caressing. kissing.
hoping only that the moment would last for eternity.....

glimpses of you flash like lightning.
I remember you still.
just not as often.
and its not that im forgetting about you...
I just find myself thinking less each day.
of anything at all.
I still hold you high in my heart,
but I can no longer struggle.
I feel im at my wits end.
so if you don't want to hold me..
if you don't want to see me...
if you don't want me...
then I must move on.
and offer my love to another
in hope that they return to me,
what you couldn't bring yourself to.

I'm happy that you are deciding to move on...I think why give your love and let it keep going to someone that wont return the favor...Im happy yet sad that you ever have to go through what I had to I know what you are feeling moving on is very hard to do...but it gets easier as time goes...and I think it will be good for both of us...hah since we are both trying to move on...but yeah and it gives us something to write about...what we are going through...i loved this I think I can relate to it the best...I give it a 5....very powerful write...I will always be here to talk if you ever need anyone...
much love,
Dani

Marvelous Poem here.......Romantic, exciting, packed with knowledge too!
I really enjoyed reading this.....for many reasons..........so many just hang on....wishing and praying......when they know it is of no use. I'm glad you took the bull by the horns so to speak......and got it over with! That's the only way to live your life....very decisively
Great.........receives the highest marks.
love
