My body starts to turn to stone
I am here now all alone
I'm left here in the darkness to decay
wiping all my tears away
Endless dreams of mine flood
each of them tainted with blood
The dreams of mine fade away
As I wipe my tears away
A darkened spirit haunts me still
A blackened heart takes its fill
My dread starts to grow each day
Still wiping all my tears away
I'm drowning in sorrow and soaking in shame
But it doesn't matter cause I feel no pain
There's nothing you can do, or anything you can say
Because I'll always be here, wiping all my tears away

This poem touched me because I will forever be "wiping all my tears away". My family has suffered a tragic loss this week and I totally feel this one. Thanks for sharing!

I like the emotion. You lost your pace alittle at the end, could take out a few words to make it flow better.
Nice job |

i really liked your poem, in a way it reminds me of myself, but in a different way. i would give it to my ex because he's out having fun, having sex with other girls, and i'm at home crying. it's kind of weird how poems can relate to other topics |
