Velveteen princess in a castle by the sea
Ensemble of paragon she'd pretend to be
Locked in her minted room of make believe
Voiced in the avenue of being naive
Everyone adored her in her illusion
Tranquillity of grandeur delusion
Rained out by reality's brass intrusion
Amuses herself in her seclusion
Invocation of glamour and champagne
Needy contradiction, self-conscious but vain
Drunk off the severity of her disdain
Ruined the serenity of her domain
Off to the past to rediscover who she was
Past the point where all she craves is applause
Satisfaction found in embracing the flaws

B, E, A, utiful i believe if i live in a film and played god for the day that would have been what i would have said
I love the feel this poem give off its almost gentle with a carressive feel locked deep within the lines, and yet it hold a stain of fear within also, fear of not being accepted fear of being different
Im probably totally wrong, but they say poetry is what you perseve it to be so, in which case i can actually never be wrong lol
