Amidst the white, the pure,
Lovely shade of life,
Death waves his bony hand
And beckons the young man:
“In Charon’s lair
You’ll find a rose:
A life that was,
But is no more.
Here you speak of sins
And redemption,
Bt it’s of no use –
There’s no salvation.
You may enter.
To speak, take the floor,
But pay the price…
Leave your soul at the door.”
This death said
And disappeared.
