sleeples fright

I can not close my eyes
For if i do they will come and get me
I live my life in fear
Looking over each ear
I sometimes wonder if this could be the year
The year in which my fear gets the better of me

I know its only a matter of time
Before i pass out
Pass because of lack of sleep
The only way i get my rest is out of a bottle
My fears vanish
On bottle at a time
I start to feel tired
I keep going until i fall
I'm now unconcious
My dreams are non existant

I wake up in a hospital
Hooked up to some machine
My mom tells me i don't have a life to live
I slowly slip away
Everything gets bright
All of a sudden
I'm done putting up a fight
I let it go
I'm in a better place now
A place with no
With no fear
I'm no longer afraid to sleep
He tells me he will not let anymore harm come to me
Thank you for forgiving me
And saving me from my so called
LIFE
