Abyss

Topic: DarkPoetry

When did the truth leave my soul?
When did the lies begin to spread?
Where did the deceit begin to grow?
Its vines are now tightly wrapped around my head
I instigate a battle inside
Trying my hardest to break free
Yet its one step forwards and two steps back
This disease is now engulfing me
Its taken everything I love
Even those I cherished most
Have walked away from me
Either sold their souls to crush me deeper
Into my abyss of insanity
There is no hope its who I am
A curse inflicted on me for life
I'll roam alone for eternity
No son, so love no wife.

Well I know the thoughts, feelings. I think we all can relate a bit to this one in one way or another.
I live alone with my animals but I have kids a cross town that come when I call but very selddom anyone comes to my house. I like it this way. I coose aloneness 'cause one can commune with God without the poop.
Heck, I call this site here my global family. This is why I live to read, write, encorage, communicate etc. If my mind is busy then I'm never alone.
This is a great write and thanks for the inspiration. Didn't mean to write a book.

luv, huggs, peace, hope, joy,
