Oh! Be, Oh! Be, Oh! Be to me, my bi-polar affective disorder,
Get me high as a kite, or keep me up half the night,
Spend my money like water, doing not what I oughta,
But rather just as I like, Oh! My dopamine spike,
Living right on insanity’s border.
Then bring me down with a crash and a bump and a splash,
Till I’m tearful, depressed and I’m moanin,
And I’m singing the blues, and my shrink gives me the news,
My receptor’s stuffed full of serotonin.
