I went and looked at old black well.
It’s said its waters come from Hell.
I went and walked up old black hill.
It’s said the sky there makes you ill.
I went and kissed the old black lips
It’s said her kiss is like a crypt.
I went and drank the black well drink,
and as I drank, it turned to ink.
My body rolled right down the hill,
and turned into a plume as well.
My mouth is all that that kiss left.
It warns, in ink, the dear bereft.

Hmm verrry interesting, I don't know whether you intend it or not but the way you describe each verse is kinda creepy... Potentially very good start for a creepy TheRing-like story.
Actually no, this reminds me of Book #3 in an awesome fantasy trilogy you should read one day: The Farseer Trilogy. |
