could never have happend

Contributed by rugby_player on Sunday, 6th June 2004 @ 10:38:25 PM in AEST
Topic: InternetLove

I thought it was him
It turned out to be you
Did it happen for a reason
It was like it was meant to be
You and me

Over the past months
We have both grown
I lean on you when i need some comfort
As you lean on me
We live in the same state
Yet so far away
I've told you i just wanted to be friends
You said of course
Then after a couple of months
When i said maybe more
You told me no way in hell

I've since found out why you said this
You don't want to hurt our friendship
And i thank you for that
But god help me
I don't want to leave it at that
I need to say it
No way around it
I love you
Just wish things could be
